Watching TRON with WikiLeaks "lens" on has certainly opened my eyes to some startling connections.
From the very beginning, when Flynn is trying to break into ENCOMs' servers, I was immediately drawn in by the connections the film has to the WikiLeaks situation. Before you call me one of "those" people, let me explain.
For the last few months, Julian Assange has been borrowing his way through thousands of confidential international cables, videos, and emails. In this analogy, he is Flynn.
Assange created a medium by which to post all of his findings. He created WikiLeaks: a website that the average citizen can use and access. WikiLeaks fights for the user. Wikileaks is Tron.
